Every now and again, I come across an exquisitely styled film, and I am reminded of how important costume is to a story and its characters.
"Cracks" is an independent film starring one of my favourite actresses Eva Green, alongside Juno Temple, Imogen Poots and Maria Valverde. It is set in a British boarding school during the 1930s and features impeccable, vintage looks. The women/girls are unassuming and exude femininity - their clothing is simple and classic, in a way that is rarely seen in young women today.
